The Coordinator, Accounts Payable is responsible for managing the company accounts payable process and function in a professional and knowledgeable manner. This position directs and oversees the daily management of the accounts payable clerk and processes associated with the approval and payment of invoices, ensuring the accuracy of the entire process as it relates to vendor payment, processing of purchase orders, receiving, invoices and payment of invoices, and communication with buyers. This position ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to accounts payable.Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Communicates all activities to the Director, Financial Services. Successfully manages all vendor responsibilities. Ensures all transactions meet the company approval process. Supervisory Responsibility This position has one direct report and several indirect reports, so this person must be able to work both as a supervisor and as a collaborative team member in a cross-functional environment. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm Travel No travel is expected for this position. Education and Experience 1. Minimum four years of high volume A/P experience with at least two years of supervisory experience. 2. Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
